- Which product is available as Student Editions?
Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium.
- What is included in the Student Edition box?
Inside the box you will find the product DVD and a form to be used to request the serial number from Adobe.
- In which languages are the products available?
The products are available in English language only.
- Are manuals included with the products?
The product package contains no printed manual. The documentation is provided in electronic form on the DVD.
- Which platforms are supported by the Student Editions?
Versions are available for both Windows and MAC platforms.
- Do the Student Editions have restricted functionality?
No, however Adobe Student Editions are for installation soley on private computers and for non-commercial purposes only.
- Is there a time limit on using Student Editions?
No, there is no time limit for using a Student Edition.
Eligibility conditions
- Who may purchase and use Student Editions?
Only full students enrolled at Higher Education establishments defined as accredited public or private university, college or polytechnics that grants degrees or diplomas requiring not less than the equivalent of two (2) years study OR students enrolled at an accredited public or private school providing full-time instruction.
- How must evidence of eligibility be provided?
The serial number must be applied for from Adobe by e-mail or fax. Proof of eligibility must be enclosed in the application for the serial number.
- What kind of evidence is needed?
Students must provide a valid, current student ID that includes name, date, and a photo.
If the student does not have a current student ID with name date and photo, the student must instead provide a valid photo ID, and corroborating evidence of current enrolment:
- Official, current non-photo student ID with name and date
- Official, current school transcript indicating name of school and student
- Official, current school tuition bill indicating name of school and student
- Official, current report card indicating name of school and student
- Other official dated proof of enrolment
- How can I be sure that I am eligible?
The conditions of eligibility are listed below. If you are not sure whether you are eligible, please ask your reseller or send an e-mail query to: edu-online@adobe.com.
Eligible Individuals
- Only full students enrolled at Higher Education establishments defined as accredited public or private university, college or polytechnics that grants degrees or diplomas requiring not less than the equivalent of two (2) years study OR students enrolled at an accredited public or private school providing full-time instruction.
NOT Eligible
- Teachers and trainers at educational establishments.
- Schools, universities and other educational institutions.
- Private and commercial training institutes, training establishments in companies, hospitals, clubs, research establishments.
Please note:
Before this software can be installed, the form within the box and proof of eligibility must be sent to Adobe to obtain a serial number.
- Do I need a code to activate the product for use?
Yes, you need a serial number before you can install the software. You must request this from Adobe by sending the form found inside the box along with your proof of eligibility by fax or e-mail.

- Can I exchange or return the product?
No, the product cannot be exchanged or returned. For this reason please verify before purchasing whether you are an eligible user.
Licence:
- May a Student Edition also be used for commercial purposes?
Student Edition software is for non-commercial purposes only.
- How many versions of the Student Edition can I purchase?
Each eligible person may only purchase one Student Edition per product version. If further copies are bought by the same person, no serial number will be issued for it.
- How many computers may I use the Student Edition on?
The Student Edition may only be used on one computer. This is ensured through a product activation procedure, which is performed online.
- Can Student Editions be upgraded?
Student Editions can be upgraded to a commercial version.
- May a Student Edition be resold?
No, the Student Edition may neither be sold by the licencee nor given to others for free.
- May the Student Edition be made further use of after my graduation/training is complete?
Yes, after termination of your graduation Student Editions may continue to be used for non-commercial purposes only.
- May the Student Edition also be used on a computer at school/university?
No, the Student Edition may only be used on the licencee’s own private computer. |
